Tiu and Tara
A collaboration with singer/songwriter Tiu de Haan, following a chance encounter in Gillett Square, Dalston in summer 2012.
Reconnected, having not seen each other for over 12 years since playing on Tiu's album 'Leaving for the Blue' - now working together to create and perform new arrangements of Tiu’s original songs, exploring an acoustic percussive sound and versatility of the cello as accompaniment with rich vocal harmonies.
The duo and are sometimes joined by special guests including guitarist Jack Ross.
Recent performances include Rich Mix, The Hideaway, Old Queens Head, Jamboree, The Russett and The Glad.
