Beneath the Viaduct at College Wood, Penryn, Cornwall, Via explored the way we move and travel through space and each others lives.
In the beautiful, unsung surroundings of this ancient viaduct, Quest Ensemble (Tara, Filipe Sousa and Preetha Narayanan) were invited to collaborate with Dance Artist/Choreographer Ruth Pethybride and an intergenerational group of dancers of varied experience, to create a site specific piece over 2 days in July 2013.
Working alongside the performers; with sounds from the site including the natural reverberation/echos of the arches, the trio created a score using live and manipulated sounds from the cello and violin fused fused with electronics (set up with a boat generator we transported in a wheelbarrow!)
